    Is there an app/program to check my Z10, so I can see if my problem is hardware or software? BBVE tells me no card, even though I have a card in & I know it works. Suggestions?

    Try another card, try your card in another device. Take it from there.

    Done both, card works. Have tried 2 others in Z10, still doesn't read them. BBVE keeps saying no card. That's why I'm after an app or something to test phone.

    Reload the OS. BBVE already tested the hardware sort of. It only was able to test as much as thew software allowed. If the software layer is faulty, it will report no card or errors that do not actually exist.

    This was the issue... you have to format your card on the PC as exFAT or else it won't accept it...

    My card was on FAT32 and it wouldn't accept it...

    Was coming up with the same error as in the first post...

    After you have formatted in the PC as exFAT, then slip it in the phone... First It didn't recognized it, then just choose to press format media card (via the phone) .. then it works as a charm...

    Hope you all didn't given up ( i was nearly but google saved my phone )
