Want to move all data from old BB Leap(bad battery) to new BB Leap.
Assume simply restore recent full backup to new phone?

    Thanks

What program would you be using?
If you mean with Link or DBBT, then yes, it should work fine.

No, it won't install any OS, only data.
If you want the latest OS on your new device you can use an autoloader to get it.
This is the one for the Leap,
    https://mega.nz/#!s9hGBACZ!rI_BxhXIL...eeBqF5DyH8cb6U

Download it to a PC, connect your device and run the file.

Also my new phone has a different serial # in Settings. Will this cause problems with restore?
    Thanks again.

Not sure what happened... opens to the correct autoloader here.

Would possibly only cause connectivity issues if it wasn't the right model for your region/carrier. Won't affect a restore that I'm aware.

    So which link to use?
Assume I should simply double click the link on my PC and it will autoload into new Leap?
    Thanks

    To update your Leap:
Open this link on your PC,
    https://mega.nz/#!s9hGBACZ!rI_BxhXIL...eeBqF5DyH8cb6U

Download the file that you're presented with (labeled "ClassicandZ30").
Now plug your Leap to the PC via USB cable.
Open the newly downloaded file and let it do its' thing, it will take about ten minutes.

After the autoloader window closes, you will have the latest OS on your device and you'll be ready to do the restore.

    Clear as mud?

The link will take you directly to the file on the Mega website, you'll still need to click on the Download button.

Classic, Z30, and the Leap all take the identical loader.

    Two files downloaded. A megasynchsetup.exe and Classic-Z30.
I guess I click on Classic-Z30 when both downloaded?

Should only have downloaded one file, but you're looking for the one marked Classic and Z30.

Open the cover on the side of the device, and push SIM in until you hear a click, then release and it'll slide right out.

Restore went well. Just hard to setup Yahoo mail account. Works on my old Leap. Any tips??
    Old OS 10.3.3.1435
    New OS 10.3.3.2137

Hope I'll be able to enjoy new Leap for a year or two before we're forced to abandon BB for Android or IPhone-Ugh

    Thanks
    Bob
