Loaded 10.0.10.261 and then did the update to 10.9.10.35.

I can confirm Facebook, Twitter is working. Also the OS feels much more snappier. I definitely recommend this route.

Also watermarks disappear after 10.9.10.35 update.

Also adding your email to HUB is quicker after update.

    Just a note :

Update from 10.0.09.2372 to 10.9.10.35 is over 500MB
Update from 10.0.10.261 to 10.9.10.35 is about 350MB

Also the nice boot up screen from Z10 disappears and Dev Alpha boot screen is back

    no they are gone....

Because 10.9.10.35 IS 10.0.10.263 which is the OS released on the 31st of January to bring Hub, phone and maps application. I'd recommend against doing the OTA software update if 10.0.9.2372 has all the retail functionality such as the hub. Just handle the watermark.

First link, 10.0.9.2372, which works on Dev Alpha A is the retail Z10 version, https://twitter.com/BBHerald/statuse...71030192267264, except appears to be an internal build which is watermarked. So yeah, just use that.

Newcomers to this thread: Do not install the software update 10.9.10.35 when prompted at the setup screen on 10.0.09.2372. I am not kidding, you'll lose features and revert back to the non-retail developer build so don't do it.

Couldn't you just download the 10.35 update to go back to the original dev alpha software? Everyone is saying don't download the update, but if you want the normal firmware you could and it would likely be a good idea before sending it back.

Connect Dev Alpha to USB, switch Dev Alpha off, start the AutoLoader, when it says, connect to bootrom, press and hold volume up, volume down + power button.

When Dev Alpha starts up you should see something happen in AutoLoader window
