Hi guys!

I'm currently having a problem with my Blackberry Z10 Dev Alpha B device. I was frustrated with the lack of apps (Specifically, Instagram) on Blackberry World. A friend of mine told me that I can actually install Android apps by sideloading them on to my device. I tried what he advised me to do, and even though the apps were installed, they weren't working at all. I told him about my OS version (10.0.10.261) and he told me to try and update my OS to a 10.2 version. I went on to BB's website and downloaded the 10.2.0.1793 autoloader and have regretted it ever since.

Once I changed the OS, I was shocked to see several icons missing (Music, Pictures, Videos, etc) along with the lack of an alarm clock. I did some Googling and found out that it was an incomplete OS, hence the missing features. I wanted to downgrade back to my 10.0 OS but to no avail. I've tried these following methods

(Running the 10.0 autoloader again)
I thought that this would work, but it's giving me an error that I can't seem to comprehend as the command line closes itself abruptly.

(Restoring to Factory settings/Security swipe)
After restoring it, I tried running the 10.0 autoloader again but the same problems arise

Can somebody please help? I am getting incredibly frustrated with it

Welcome to crackberry! There are leaked OS here that has the full apps. Your device is not exactly a Z10. I will look as to what you need and get back to you soon.

Have moved you to the appropriate forum section which is the Dev devices.

Edit, first of all you need BlackBerry Link. You can grab it from here.

Try updating from there and see what OS you get?

did you check your model? as there are differents leaked Os for each model, and there are many full Os autoloader in BB10 leaked Os Thread, just check there, and grab an unlocked runtime avoid the 10.2.1.xxx one it's for 10.2.1 Os but take the 10.2.0.xxx it's the largely used so you can get Instagram working

Stl 100-???? the number after determine the radio, and the whole autoloader, more information is needed

It's 1793 with the missing parts filled back in.

The BitCase file doesn't work. After downloading, I extracted it but an error always comes up. I found another file which is bigger than that one so I'll try it out. Thanks
