Hi all,

im hoping someone here can help me out. The bottom microphone of my q10 crapped out and people cant hear me when i call anymore unless through speakerphone. returning to carrier is not an option for me im out of my home country

i need to fix this phone asap, can someone tell me how i would go about replacing or fixing the microphone and where i can get a new one?

is the microphone on the q10 connected to the keyboard??

Can the callers not hear you *at all* or very quietly?

I had a family member who had a similar issue - turns out they had pocket lint built up in every single possible crevasse on the phone. A quick cleaning brought their call quality back to normal.

they cant hear me at all, do you know where the mic is located on the phone? is it attached to the keyboard?

Hi everyone, I have the same problem with new Q10 (bought 10 days ago). Other party can hear me very badly (as I would be somewhere very far). When I switch the speakerphone on, they can hear me very clearly.
