Currently I sync two EAS Accounts.
    1. University groupware: email, contacts, calendar, tasks and notes sync
    2. Telekom cloud: contacts and calendar sync only
Without those accounts enabled I get 25 kbytes/hour, with both accounts enabled (push) I get:
    > 2 Mbytes/hour
even without getting emails or changing contacts!
With Telekom account only I get 800 kbytes /sec.
I only recognized those high data volumes cuz I achievd my provider trafic limit (1gb), with android I never did!
Are those values realistic? Can I adjust something?
If so I was very disappoited from the BB10 System!
I use Z30 with latest official firmware!

    Change your sync interval.

Yes, was going to say that, contacts and calendar can sync every 24 hours

Sync intervall is PUSH, but if there are no changes in contacts or calendar, There should be no data traffic!
In fact, my Groupware account only syncs my calendar if PUSH is enabled!
Anyway, if everythings configured correctly, There should be no traffic if there are no changes.
