I believe you are wrong. The Dev Alpha B I have, when you take off the battery cover, looks almost identical to the Z10 internals, including using the same battery. Also when I go to About -> General Model: BlackBerry Z10 Model Number STL100-1

Only major difference I have noticed is the Z10 has 2GB Ram, the DAB only has 1 GB.

Possibly can, I am trying to change backdoors of Dev Alpha B device to my limited edition red Z10 cover and it works.

But I never try to change all of the device body.

Maybe you can buy parts for the DAB and and make it a Z10.

For the record if anyone comes to this thread from google - yes this'll work.
I've done this to my Dev alpha B device, and it's much better without the annoying bezel.
The part you will need to get is the BlackBerry Z10 (3G Model) Middle Frame + Back Cover Door. I ebayed mine for $40 a year ago.
