I just updated from the older version of BB10 to the newer one.

I know that's pretty vague, but as an example, I didn't have Blend, or Password Keeper before.

    Questions:

    1
    - For android apps, do I still need snap? If yes, it's a major hassle to get it, and I'm wondering if there is an easy way. I really need a few apps only available on android, such as viewcam, instagram (real), pinterest, google maps, etc etc.

If I don't need snap, how can I get the android apps?

    2
    - Is there a place where I can read up what the major changes were? Such as what Blend is and how to use it, etc?

I do realise most people here would have updated months ago.

    1. If you don't want to use Snap or the Amazon Store, you can try to download the APK files directly from the web. Here are a few sites you can try:

    https://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/
Online APK Downloader | Download APK Directly From Google Play To Your Computer
    https://apk-dl.com/

The first two sites provide the MD5 File Hash in case you want to verify the file's integrity against the original

I do want to use snap, but I don't know how.

    Does snap work with 10.3?

    How do I install snap?

Amazon apps mostly useless for me

Download the Snap app and side load it to your phone.
    Reboot the device once done.
Open the app and sign in with your Google account and you start downloading your favourite android apps.
    That's all.

    Download the Sachesi here
    http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=825409

After download, extract it into a folder on your pc and name that folder "SACHESI".
    Now,
    1. Open the folder and open the Sachesi app
    2. Connect your device and Sachesi will discover it. (If you are using a password on your device, enter it into the page Sachesi is displaying.)
    3. Once it connects with your device, it will display all apps installed on your device.
    4. Now look for the option "Install file". Click on it and choose the Snap app you just downloaded
    5. Now relax and wait for Sachesi to install and tell you update or install complete.
    6. Once done, disconnect your device and you will see that the Snap app has been loaded onto it.(I do like to reboot my device once I do sideloading like this-just some habit)
    7. Now go ahead and enjoy Snap.
