I've seen some Blackberry Dev Alpha A on ebay.
They were asking at the time up to $300 but that was then.
I don't know. What's more collectable? Dev Alpha A or Dev Alpha C?
If you want to develop for it. just get yourself a Z10 on craigslist or Ebay. They can't go over $100. And you can talk someone into the $50 range I'm sure.
I have also been craving a Dev device lately.. I just want to play around with one and it would be nice to have as a BlackBerry loyalist especially if the end is really near. I haven't seen any on ebay recently.
Not sure what you mean by conditions. For the sale or the device?
As to the device, rarely used as I got a Q10 a few months after the DAC. It has a sensitive 'y' key and when it is first booted up from being off it will reboot after about a minute, after that it stays on normally.

I was looking for one without problems for my personal collection. I also have one with the exact same problem, I thought it was only my device. When it boots, it will reboot one minute later, then it's all fine. It has sensitive P and O keys

Oh? Yours reboots too. I thought mine was the only one since I hadn't seen anyone mention this before.
I'm thinking of just buying the entire Q10 housing and keyboard and converting it to a Q10 as I like the feel better than the DAC. It would make a nice backup for about $15.

Yeah it's a weird problem. I've installed lots of OS versions and the problem never got away, even got a brand new battery and nothing. In my case I LOVE the Alpha C, I love the design so I'm keeping it original even if it's all scratched now, idk why but for me it's an special phone since it's limited and not for sale, when the Q10 was released I was a little bit disappointed because I thought the Alpha C was going to be the production one. I prefer to buy a Q10 instead of converting my Alpha C but that's just me. Hopefully I will find a brand new Alpha C someday for sale, I may just buy it to make a personal collection of one piece, since in the end it may be the last prototype of BB10
