and wtf with sony not giving us the development care ?
I mean it's on IOS and Android, why they don't try to support BB ?

can we all make suggestion for them and sending it so they may look at it ?

    Stephen,

Good App. Please keep developing it.

Just tried it with a Sony a5100 and the Blackberry Playbook. (And on the Z10) Works great. Really makes using the Sony fun, esp with the Playmemories & the Sony wifi transfer being busted. Two things I would love are

    1) Transfer of existing photos from the camera to the BB. (I want to show off photos on the Passport)
    2) NFC pairing. (That would be dope!)

Keep chugging. I would pay for this app.

    HI everyone,

New member here! I have a NEX-5T and a brand new Z10. I tried Playmemories, realized it didn't work and then came across AuxiCam.

My issue is connection related. I go into my camera, open the Smart Embedded Remote app, I try and connect my phone through Settings > WiFi and I either get hung up on Acquiring IP, or it will connect, but the camera just sits at Connecting and AuxiCam never sees it.

Any ideas? I see a few people have a 5R or 5T and it works?

    Help!

    Thanks!!

    ~Andrew
I am having this same problem. I have a Z10 and a brand new Sony A5000 and I'm getting stuck at the "Acquiring IP". It must have been stuck there for almost 10mins today. I even tried restarting my phone numerous times to see if it would help.

Anybody have any suggestions for Andrew and myself??

Thank you for a great app. Would love to see the transfer of pictures already taken on the camera, that for me would be a killer next step. I am using it on a Passport and a Sony Alpha 77Mark2 to great effect.
Will definitely pay for this app.

Yes, Auxicam is working with the Sony Rx100 M3 but it has poor option: so far just to shot and transfer that picture

Thank you, but how do I connect the camera to wifi without the app? I thought the app made the connection.

I can connect to the camera with NFC, but the app doesn't support it. Stephen, if you're reading this, would you be able to update the app with NFC support?

On the camera you should be launch the remote control app

    Here how I oftn do

    1: Start the camera
2: Touch the camera's NFC target with my BlackBerry (NFC on) this will launc the remote control app on the camera or launch it from the camera menu
3: From your BlackBerry, go into wifi settings connect the camera with ssid and pwd
4: When the phone is connected through wifi, launch the app !!!

Thanks, but I don't think this will work with the QX100. It's not a full camera, just a lens assembly that is controlled entirely by the phone. It doesn't have its own software.

The problem is in making the initial connection and entering the password. I can't get past this step.

I think the QX100 is alway in remote control command menu, so it should work too!

Ups, forgot one essential step: the BB will ask for the password of your QX100. You'll find it inside the battery cover.

A little off topic from the application side, but I don't want to start a new topic. Something that helps a little bit in the pairing method, using an nfc badge for connecting to the camera. Not as elegant way like the built in but it works (not like the original)

Would like to see Sony Play memories come to the BB10 Phones.-img_20150415_160440.jpg
