With JC's announcement that the consumer apps will be Droid (Amazon) and the Enterprise apps will be native (BBW) what does this mean for the BB native Tweeter and FaceBook apps?

Will we be forced to use the Droid apps instead?

Facebook and Twitter are not enterprise applications (at least not in regulated industries), so I expect active in-house development to cease on them as well.

Twitter is actually made by Twitter not BlackBerry so nothing should change there. As for facebook, time will tell! I think though that it's an important enough app that they won't let it go.

Facebook is an important tool for CRM in an enterprise perspective. Plus this is one of their tenets with regarding communication so I doubt it will be phased out.

Although it appears that Twitter is the developer on the BB10 app, it surprises me that they're committed enough to the platform to go through the BlackBerry Beta Zone.

I think it important enough that CB should push for an answer.

The current version of Twitter for BlackBerry 10 apparently doesn't support posting a photograph. I had to use the web browser. This is the second application to loose functionality since the last update to BlackBerry OS 10.2.1. Annoying to say the least.
