Will Blackberry follows Microsoft footstep and built an actual app for YouTube? I know the weblink works but an app would be ideal.

I think the weblink and the integration into the OS is pretty good.

There are 3 main things people would use youtube for
1) Watch a video from a link that a friend sent. Which the browser handles fine.
2) Search for a specific video. (which you can do through google or through the youtube weblink)
3) Upload a video, which can be easily done through the video app by clicking on "Share" to youtube

Having Native apps is over rated, there are some things that the mobile version just simply works well.

I gotta agree with Andrew, the OS can handle YouTube's basic uses by itself.

But it is possible. YouTube is not a particularly huge need, so bake the bare bones into the OS so people can have some functionality and then bring out a full blown app. After important stuff has been taken care of.

So, yeah, might happen. On a sidenote, the PlayBook Youtube app was said to work quite well on the Z10, though I didn't test it (since the Podcasts app was a total trauma).
