    To install WhatsApp on BB10 is a joy. To easily understand this follow the YouTube video on the subject by Jan Ole, who studied Cobalt's strategy. Let us know any snags, as there is a solution there too! Good luck.

    You don't patch WhatsApp, or need any of Cobalt's stack.

    Given WhatsApp app is available on the Android Google Play Store, then Cobalt has a procedure for downloading and installing: Google a/c. Google Blackberry I.D., Google Play Store and Google Play Services (of which can show error messages, which must be solved). The download and installation of WhatsApp from the Play Store can also hit a snag with the backup to Google Drive. Given my encrypted and unremovable 16GB SD media card, I elected not to backup to Google Drive and my App service is enjoyable. WhatsApp Settings allows the user to restrict storage of calls, media and chats in backup to the SD media card. Enjoying my beloved BBRY Q10!
