I know there is a setting to specify the folder for APKs to be moved after being installed, but where is the Snap's own cache located so we can access to pre-installation APK's.

It depends what you have the settings set to. Usually it's in downloads. But I have it set to remove after installation. So that it doesn't take extra space for nothing.

I don't think there is any setting to select the location of the cache.
The setting does not allow you to choose where to save the downloaded APK. It only lets you select where to move after installation.

    Right. This is post-install.
I wanted to find out where it is downloading them to. (cache)

Used to be the downloads folder. Unless they changed it.

In previous versions, the pre-install APKs were saved to the Downloads directory. This was before the feature to install purchased apps was added. The developer has likely restricted access to pre-install APKs to preclude them from being, shall we say, liberally redistributed.

This is a possibility. I don't see them in Downloads folder.

I didn't know about this setting but have it set now. Do I still need to delete the apks myself now that I just checked this or will it do it for me? I'm assuming the device/downloads are the apks I need to delete right?

If you have it set to delete apk it won't take extra space anymore. Meaning it installs and throws away the apk instead of having to do it manually

I understand this will start to happen now if I download/install apk's but what about the ones I've already downloaded?

Right, that's what I thought. It's the files in device/download correct?

I keep the apk files or move them to my sdcard so that I can more easily reinstall them from File Manager if I delete or UNinstall them for some reason. Also, keep a copy on my computer.

    You can also clear cache.
