    Don't understand all the anxiety about WhatsApp, the android version 2.17.345 ask works fine (as far as I can tell).
    But the notification is SO intrusive. Neither from within the app nor through Settings -> Notifications can I change it though I've coped fine with email, text and all other personalisations.
    Bug (put up with it)? Trick? Please tell me!

    Also very interested in the answer to this. Would love to be able to customize it but it keeps reverting back to the default. I'll be following this thread and hopefully someone has figured this out...
