Read the last few paragraphs of this article:
WhatsApp for BlackBerry 10 is still going to stop working, it's just a matter of time https://www.crackberry.com/whatsapp-...g-stop-working

Android phone
Download it from here and install,
https://www.whatsapp.com/android/
And then run this app once if you want media sharing to work (you'll need an SD card),
https://appworld.blackberry.com/webs...ntent/60005088
If WhatsApp is important definitely look into an iOS or Android device for a more longterm solution.
Download whatsapp apk from https://m.apkpure.com/whatsapp-messenger/com.whatsapp then install whatsfixer from BlackBerry world. Remember you must have an SD card inserted

I agree. There has been more than enough warning....everything just work better on android...bb10 will continue to me more and more unusable .
Don’t think I’m hating on BB10...I always have loved the OS ..but it’s over...and it’s been over for a long time ..unfortunately
It's over for whatsapp, but BB10 now makes for the ultimate best feature phone! Lol. It's limited, sure, but still way better than the regular feature phones. I'm still using my Classic. Installed the Android APK of the whatsapp and off it goes. It heats up the device and eats the juice off the phone faster than Road Runner, but hey--it works.
I also have Aurora so I can always juggle it up. KEYone is still RIDICULOUSLY expensive. Later lah.
The problem for BlackBerry.... much of their fanbase was in markets like Africa, India or Indonesia. And based on devices that were 2nd or 3rd hand, and that had a lower cost of operation. But the new BlackBerry Mobile doesn't benefit from older devices like BlackBerry once did, and it can't really compete in those markets where $200 is the AVERAGE selling price.
They need Western markets, but those aren't as open to the brand anymore. But it's easier to try and rebuild the brand there, than it is to compete in those markets where midgrade has a different definition.
we can download from official website like https://whatsapp.com or also if its not working for any reason then you can go for other apk files download websites like https://apkpure.com or https://apkpassion.com etc
