It is not yet available. I have just checked it from my Dev Alpha.
I heard Whatsapp will release beta version in a few weeks. No certain date yet
What about Skype and Kindle, now or some later date?
I havnt checked for Skype but neither Kindle & Whatsapp are yet loaded onto blackberry world.
They should appear over the next week or so.
The phones a mean piece of kit though
in the presentation he said that they are 'committed' to BB10... which i assume means that they will be available soon!
During the presentation I saw whatsapp icon on the London guy's phone.

could be the android version sideloaded. No?
Everything with BlackBerry is always coming soon

I read in an article that they are looking to do a beta over the next couple of weeks. Looks like they'll be doing a native version and not just an Android version too, with some integration with Hub and PIM. I was expecting an android port, but if there's HUB integration, it'll be awesome.
Basically every big apps they said in the keynote are not yet available, except Angry Birds. I think it will be ready when the phone is released in US by mid March
No point for me to get it now then.
Phones release here (Middle East) within 2 weeks. Hopefully we will have something to work with (beta or not) by then, because half of the people I chat with are on Whatsapp. If not, then I guess I will have to use a sideloaded version for the time being.
Hi, got my Z10, I have sideloaded WhatsApp and can confirm it is working, only problem is that it cant access the contacts so starting a new conversation is hard, but once you have started a chat on there it works fine
how did you get a conversation going and what version is it? any chance of a bar? i tired with the latest but i cant add contact to it
What would be nice to have and see is a Whatsapp application that gives the users the option to EITHER add manually contacts meaning each contact desired or sync contacts for those concerned about privacy. Also there should be a separate folder of which pictures or images go into for those concerned about privacy so that one does not need to give access or sync all personal photos just to be able to use a photo feature from Whatsapp.
Whatsapp should also not have all those ridiculous permissions that they have on Google to act as account authenticator for each account in the Smartphone and have access to deleting and editing accounts. They should also not have permission to enable audio and video at any time without our permission like they do on Google Play. Audio and video should only be allowed when we wish to send an audio note or video clip along with receiving but not for them to record at any time to their likings.
Whatsapp should also be user language friendly to where they can allow users to read multiple languages and then allow user to copy/paste message to Google Translate for either audio or text translation. The status part of the message should also be available for copy/paste so one can translate the other parties status if needed.
They had better get this one right because if they do not they will have a problem..
