I downloaded the blaq twitter app and was wondering why everybody says it's so good?? I've heard such negative things about the standard twitter app for bb10 but i really have no problems with it.

I find myself actually swiping across all the time in blaq and I don't know, doesn't seem like a AMAZING App that would make me want to use it over the regular app. Can someone give me the rundown on why it's so much better haha?

You do realize "great" and "amazing" are fairly subjective evaluations, right? In as much as I have Blaq, it is not my go-to Twitter app but I still appreciate that some people find it "great" and "amazing" and that is OK.

Having said that, I look forward to reading the imput of those for whom Blaq is their go-to app,

I'm with you actually.. I've tried blaq..didn't see the big deal. Maybe there's something I'm missing because I'm not a real twitter power user, but I prefer the official twitter app for bb10

i guess it depends on your twitter use... for me what makes blaq better that the twitter app for bb10 is, real time update, dark theme (something i enjoyed since blaq for playbook), UI (things like seeing my list are easier on blaq), for everything else they are pretty much the same, just twitter clients.

I had the same reaction. I actually find it a little hard to use. How do I add to lists? (for example)

The latest release v 3 is battery drainer. I installed today morning and by noon battery was empty which I can think of in z30.

The user interface is unique and intuitive. The ability to select a tweet and swipe left for various options pertaining to it (re-tweet, reply, etc) is quite useful. I love that we can manipulate tweets and the time line in that manner. Additionally, I find it more visually aesthetically pleasing than the BlackBerry twitter app which feels a bit crowded to me.

it's likely we'll see more and more battery issues as apps go headless. unfortunately for us blackberry users we'll likely not see real push features anytime soon, if ever. so we have to endure the headless band-aid.

The main reason I love Blaq is because it allows for scheduled tweets. I run 3 twitter accounts and this feature alone is a life-saver.

I miss not being able to check the number of favourites on a tweet since it's a third-party Twitter client. Other than that, the app is awesome.
