I personally love and swear by SuperTube, cause the developer is very active in these forums (he has his own thread) and takes suggestions and feedback. Also love the replay button that he implemented.

It's up to you I guess

Idk about supertube but on fast tube you can preload the video (so you could still listen to music while you have no data) and also it can play the music while you do other things in the apps like search for another song

I've used the full version of FastTube for a long time and really like it but then tried Supertube and like that too. Supertube seems to have more features but is more cluttered.

    Comments are better on SuperTube.

One thing I like about supertube is you can download "download manager" app from the dev's website that allows downloading YouTube videos which I absolutely love. DW I am not into any vivo or those kinds of TM type videos.

The other feature in beta I like is the "playon" so I watch the YouTube videos on my big screen.

i used to use Fast Tube until Super Tube came out and damn.

It's all personal preference though. Try both of the free versions then buy the one you like. Both UIs are completely different.

Super Tube might have too maybe functions for a lot of people causing them to get over whelmed. The Dev is active and will update the app based on requests. It has it's own player which is faster then the standard Blackberry Video player. You can download videos similar to Stereo Tube which is offered by the same developer for free called "Download Manager".

Fast Tube i just find very basic.

Overall Super Tube is much better but like I said people might not like all the in your face functions

Tell me about the download manager. Is that the same as Tubemate? Does it work only together with Supertube? Is it save to use? Is it an APK? Any information on this is welcome, cause I will switch when this can replace Tubemate.

Super tube is a lot better if you aren't buying it. Not sure what buying gives you though

Works hand in hand with supertube and made natively (cascades) by the dev who made supertube.

Stereotube let's you download the youtube video right from the app

I've had both. I believe one or both offer a free and paid version and I've had the paid better version of both. I went from Fasttube to Supertube. I wish I could remember exactly what I didn't like about Supertube, but all I can tell you is Fasttube is more straightforward, takes up half the memory, and seems to load faster.

Supertube has more features and a neater player, but I wasn't using any of them. If you just want to subscribe to channels, make comments, store favorites and search, Fasttube is better IMO.

One thing that Supertube is really good for is the continuous play feature..
Once FastTube has that sorted out I think I will be using that more often just for the reason of design, till then.. nothing beats SuperTube in function..

I have FastTube and I like it but one problem I have with it us when I'm watching a video and try to change the position, sometimes the screen flows back and I end in the screen before it with the video playing but no where on the UI to return to the video.

Incredibly frustrating. Anyone else have this.

EDIT, I found a now playing button.

I just found a now playing button in the slide down menu. Great news.

However I think it should maybe be in the main menu too so it's more obvious it exists.

    Cheers
