I'm in the market for a Phone/SMS blocker and want a paid premium App. I like my privacy and don't wish to be bothered by telemarketers, etc. The one must have feature is that the App doesn't collect meta data or any data. If it did it would be counter intuitive to what I want to maintain. That being my privacy. Doesn't make sense to pay for an App to give myself privacy protection only to have the same App collect data on me that could possibly cause me to get more telemarketers. If anyone has gone this search before and found something, please respond! Thanks!

Please check out Blockr on BlackBerry World...
    http://appworld.blackberry.com/webst...ntent/55678896

it blocks calls, texts and emails... plus you can set blocking rules like number starts with, ends with etc.

The app is totally sandboxed and it never connects to the internet for any reason...

You can also check out BuzzOff

Buzz Off - Headless Call Blocker - BlackBerry World

BuzzOff is the most complete Call Blocker app. It has whitelist, blacklist and scheduling. You can even use geofencing to block callers like when you are at work only allow VIP contact to call you and when you are at home only allow friends to call you.

Hello. BuzzOff appears to only partially "Buzz Off". Its description indicates the best it can do is to redirect calls to voicemail. Does anyone know if Blockr can overcome this with a "pickup and hangup" feature?

On my Z30 Spambox works very well. Free for the time being. Maybe paid later. Good for spam e-mail, texts, and phone calls. Love it.

I don't like Spambox because there is no keyword. I am using Blockr because it supports keywords.

You missed the next line, which states that there's currently no way to simply pick up and hang up. If BlackBerry ever makes it available, I'm sure the dev will include that feature - it was available in BBOS.
