My boss is using Q10 and traveling a lot between countries.

On his bill we noticed a lot of entries that happen each day at 8 am and 6 pm.
Something is sending or receiving data (somethmes both) with varying size - from 100 kB to 30MB,
which results in extra costs that we would like to avoid if possible.

I haven't found anything in our BES logs so my guess is that it can be one of the apps that is running in the background.

What is the best way to track which app is doing this?

    Device Monitor.
Swipe down from the top and Choose Device Monitor (If it is not on the Quick Settings Menu, add it via Settings/Quick Settings)
Tap the three bars in lower left and choose Mobile Data.
Use the Blue Dots below the Graph to narrow the time frame to the events in question.
Then tap the high usage app or service listed to bring up all the details of it and graphs of all the various resources it was using.

that was a good hint - nothing really stands out, but most likely guess was one email account set to download all attachments automatically.

    thanks for the hint
