I strive for a perfect weather app. I picked up my dad's iphone 5 the other day and loved their native weather app.

Here's a screenshot to show its perfect, comprehensive yet simple display. Image: http://cdn.iphonehacks.com/wp-conten...eather-600.jpg

I have beweather pro and tried all the others including a few androids (I have 10.2.1). All pale in comparison. I know my q10 has a smaller screen but anyone have any ideas?

Well if you love Yahoo Weather that much...

    com.yahoo.mobile.client.android.weather

Not sure how it's gonna look like on a Q... Or it it works with 10.2.1...

Is the iOs app the same as yahoo? I thought it was apple made

In that case I can install yhoo weather with either droid store or snap. Thanks for the tip! Don't bother to get me a link!

    Too late...

iOS's new Weather app is pretty much a ripp off from Yahoo Weather. You can't have iOS' but you can have Yahoo!'s! (gee what a mess!)

When I installed it, it said it could not run without Google Play Services but I ignored that message and it ran!!!

After all the fuss of wanting an ios style weather app it's actually the yahoo app lol. The BlackBerry App gives the same information plus more but just laid out different. Tried the yahoo app ages ago but for me non beat the native BlackBerry 10 app.

    Wow apples app equals yhoo.

    Go figure.

Does yhoo weather seem a bit buggy on the bb10 runtime for anyone else? It tends to crash often after its been open for 30ish seconds for me.

Hmm does the BlackBerry weather app work different on z10 vs q10? Mine doesn't show the bottom half of your screenshot and if I flick down it moves to the next town.. screen:

Apple weather by Yahoo powered by Wunderground.

It's a bit jerky in scrolling motion and slowest loading weather app I've used yet, but other than that no issues.

Flicking down cycles locations. Flicking up scrolls down. Your thumb seems to have trackpad ghosts.

All the bad is just completely ignored.
That just shows you how ignorant people can be! I mean it even has the yahoo logo on the iOS app

It's an update that came out a couple weeks ago. You must be using 10.2 to receive it.

These apps are good looking but it lacks one important thing for us here in Canada: 1 cm or 30 cm is just shown as 'Snow'. Big difference.

The Weather Network app (Meteomedia) works perfectly for me, and includes everything above.

Is everyone who is so upset that the iOS app has the Yahoo emblem on it just blatantly ignoring the fact that the BB10 weather app has Accuweather badging all over it? Or is it only okay to present someone else's weather app as your own when it's BB doing it...

I mean, I liked the BB10 app when I had my z10 but I ended up downloading the official Accuweather one because it worked better, but make no mistake, it's an Accuweather app preloaded on BB10, not BB weather.

Apple never hid the fact that Yahoo partnered on their app, and their app is quite different with the animations over the actual yahoo app, which uses flickr pictures instead.
