Doesn't prevent them, but ensures attribution to the photographer.

More complex watermarking schemes will actually extract a unique ID from the watermark, check permissions (copy/printing) with a server, then either (1) alert the owner, (2) inhibit a compatible reproduction device from printing/copying, (3) both..... but I think that's beyond the scope of this app (and the Dev would have to become very familiar with Digimarc's legal team).

Overkill for most people. This tool does the trick though. Regarding DigiMarc, their embedded ID technology is specific to their business, it is NOT STANDARD. Pricing would be waaaaaaaay more than a single-license $1.99 fee.

Regarding legality, The Watermark Tool brand is trademarked by my company. We are offering a unique MOBILE solution.

If any of you have questions regarding The Watermark Tool, I can be reached directly on BBM: operator, via BBM Meetings or Screenshare for demos. All feedback is greatly appreciated. I want the community to benefit from this application. This tool is available on BlackBerry 10 FIRST.

I'm just curious, on your sample screenshots you used an image as a watermark? Right?
