Sorry but Snapchat doesnt have to be an App but more � fonctionnality in an IM app. So What we need to do is more to sign a petition in order to have a snapchat like functionality in Bbm. This will make BBM the most advanced IM ever. This is what we have to do, not to Beg for an app that will disappear in couple of months.

There is and it`s called Secret Picture for BBM. I do want Blackberry to buy the app out.

But this sin`t about the app. It`s about the dev`s work that he has done for free.

Not to mention Snapchat got offered 3billion by Facebook which is almost what all of blackberry was worth a few months ago.
BBM, obviously more useful. The highest I`ve seen an analyst price it is 2.5 billion recently.

I'm going to sign the petition in a second, but first wanted to share my two cents.
Let me start with saying although I feel Snap2chat is a better app then the one it is emulating by far, it still is not quite ready for BBW. There are still a few basic things that don't function properly. You can gave all the bells and whistles and glitz and glamor, but it's pretty much worthless if it can't handle the basics. For me I can't type a caption in any of my pictures. I can put emoticons in, but no text unless I "draw" it in. Others have random flashes when they open the app and a few other things you can read about in the post that Nemory started with Snap2chat.
With all of that being said Snap2chat is so close to being ready for BBW and I would love to see it there. I'm a firm believer that the "app gap" helped kill BlackBerry. Sure I want my phone be a communication tool first (and no os out there can touch what BlackBerry does), but it's nice to have the ability to have access to all the apps everyone else does. But enough about that. My number one reason why I want to see this app succeed so much is for the developer himself, Nemory. I only started following the thread a week or two and read from page 1 to page 178. I can't help but point out the dedication he put into this app. If you follow the thread it would seem as if Snap2chat was the only thing in his life and he took every idea and criticism into consideration and the result is something amazing.
There are several reasons why you should sign this petition. Take your pick! One of the top five reasons why I've been a loyal BlackBerry user for the past 5 or 6 years is bc of the crackberry community. For me personally this app represents do much for a brand I love that I fear is seconds away from extinction.
Blah blah blah, go sign the petition!

About the caption, it works fine to all versions and anyone, just try to tap it more times, it should work. but it's not meant to be like that you have to tap a lot of times. just try again bro. hopefully I can improve it more.

Yep. I tried double tapping and it didn't seem to work and after I had given up on it I was going to move it out of my way and my keyboard popped up. Lol. Like I said in the other thread with how FULLY functional this app is a walk through or guide of some sort would be nice to have (I enjoy playing with it, but the average user may get frustrated easily, admittedly I did with the caption). Just some food for thought. Keep it up bud!

look up sideloading, there wasnt enough support by the crackberry community to get it in blackberry world. You can try signing the petition but it was kind of a fail
