    downloaded viber & its not working @ all.

    Anyone facing such issue?? Am running official 10.2.1.2141

    I had downloaded earlier. Apk and deleted same before downloading from BlackBerry world.

    Hope someone can advise.

    I don't know if this is the same error others were getting, but the fix for most people with Viber problems was to delete BB World version, reinstall the apk, log out of Viber, delete app, then install BB World version and sign in.

    Hassle? Yes, but you only have to do it once.

    actually you need to select deactivate account in the privacy settings in the android app. then delete the app from your phone and then install the BBW viber version.

    UGH what happens when you deleted the apk version first before one logged in? Do we reload the version from android, log out and then delete?

    Its not the "logged in or out" that matters, its about deactivating your account using the apk version. If you had deleted the apk version but havent deactivated your account, just reinstall the apk (or get from snap), register again and then desctivate it. Then you can delete the apk version and install the bbw viber10 version

    Done all clear now, deactivated account from. Apk then downloaded from BlackBerry world and now working smooth

    I cannot even see Viber app in BB World from my Q5. Already deleted the Viber BB OS 7 version from my legacy device and the apk from Amazon on my BB10 Q-5. Just not listed?

    How do you delete the android version ? I have deactivated my android version account but BBW still won't download it.

    Do I just long press the Viber icon and then hit the X ?

    Have you deactivated your account? If so, all viber have to be deleted after deactivating so that it will be just like starting from scratch. App stores like snap and other apps so far I don't have any info that these too need to be deleted, mine I didn't delete.

    i know that this is an old post but i was having some problems installing viber and it helped a great deal. after you have deactivated the android app go into file manager go to the "download folder" and delete the viber apk. then install the blackberry world viber app
