Has anyone else experienced the USA Today app starting by itself? Every now and then it shows up in the Active Frame and I know I am not launching it.

I'm thinking of deleting it because of this.

Same thing has happened to me too. Also, the app wouldn't load some of the different categories for news. I decided to delete it. I've yet to miss it.

I turned off push notifications, and the app doesn't start on its own anymore.

It's the push notifications. Turn it off for this application.

That worked for me for about a week, but it started doing it again (though less frequently) and I finally had to delete it.

I've been having the same problem. It definitely is annoying. I am thinking of deleting it. It's too bad because I do like their news coverage. Does anyone know if it's using data when it automatically opens in the back ground? That is my major concern.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try turning off the push notifications. If it still pops up, I'll delete it.
