Updatein Places - Foursquare substitute

I had problem in foursquare since then, whenever I click "Go" on any places around me (Cagayan de Oro, Philippines) BBmaps pop out and toast "No Results Found" and it's bugging me, then I tried Updatein Places and it works like a charm.

Can anyone tell me why foursquare is not working which I presume that is bigger than the updatein places dev?

In the US I have never had a problem with Foursquare and I also have a lot of international friends on mine as well. I have no idea why it doesn't work. Have you written to them at Foursquare to ask? Does your GPS work properly on your phone?
