Getting a z10 shortly and my first ever bb, coming from iphone 4!

What's the best offline sat nav? Saw some threads on here for navfree (which wasn't free), navmii, genius?

I'd love here maps which from what I can tell is on amazon but appearantly it doesn't work?

All I need is offline maps (sd storage be excellent) speed cameras, voice guidance. Don't mind if I can pick one up for a few quid but nothing like 80 tomtom price.

    Thanks

Best free app from BB World is definitely Navfree. Genius maps and Visepilot are better but they are free for only a week. There are few good android ones that can be downloaded using Snap or Cobalt's Google Play model. They are Be-On-Road, MapFactor or even Here Maps.

Hare maps doesn't work on my classic and my q10. Navfree is definitely free, but it hasn't been updated for a long time and you can't save the maps to your SD card. The address search is not very accurate if you use the offline search. Navfree offers also the possibility to search online via Google.

Genius maps is the best nav in my opinion. But you have to pay a one time fee for turn-by-turn navigation. Maps can be saved to your SD card. You could also try the free Android app maps.me which is available from BlackBerry world. But again: you can't save the maps to your SD card.

I can't understand how you search for addresses on this app, finding the town is straightforward, finding the address impossible. What am I missing?

I don't think so, I had it for six months then unistalled, utterly useless, can't see why so many like it.
