I used snap to download and install Barclays app the google ........but couldn't get it to run said my z30 was a rooted devices
Unfortunately Barclays are being next to useless. I have asked them on numerous occasions about a BB10 app and the rooted issue on the apk install - I get either ignored or 'no info at present' comment.

Natwest App is due 4/3/2014. Unfortunately it will be an android port, but it is coming.

I have rbs app from snap, works a treat, not as good as the BlackBerry OS7 but it does the job

NatWest confirmed it's going to be an Android port? So no different to the one I've already got running then.

Agree with you hundred percent. I switched from iPhone and it's the first thing I noticed.
Now I've installed an android. Apk of the RBS app and it works fine. Hope the native app will come soon.

Unfortunately yes but at least it will be available in Blackberry World so hopefully more users will be able to pick it up meaning more scope for UK growth.

Android app is very good and works as smooth as on Galaxy S4
The RBS app works as good as a native app, very fluid.
It's a shame we have to deal with work arounds but it is what it is when your a BlackBerry user.

***UPDATE***
Asked today if there was any plans to produce a native NatWest app if the take up was large enough. This was the response I received.
"It would have to be a significant number due to the cost of regular maintenance which includes development resource and testing. A port makes sense as we are only making changes on one platform as our BlackBerry has dwindled significantly.....
The launch has been delayed until the 11th March.....
We only produced a Windows app as this was funded by Microsoft" - Head of Mobile RBS
So there you have it in black and white. You want a native app get everyone you know to download the app as soon as possible. Alternatively ask BlackBerry to either pay or offer to do a native app.
I will update this as and when. Any sensible questions fire away and I will see what I can find out.

Been waiting for Barclays mobile app for BlackBerry 10 from day 1, I've changed to Z30 and still waiting. Had the option of going Samsung, but if we all decide to move away just cause the apps is not working, then nothing will be done. But instead I moved bank.
These are the UK Banking apps I have confirmed works fine:
*Halifax (its just a web wrapper, but does the job).
*Capital One credit card (UK), works fine.
The Check app (previously called PageOnce) where you can put all your bank and credit card accounts and access the current balance and latest transactions. This is the one I use to overcome the lack of a working Barclays bank app.
*Not working:
Barclays bank app. It says my Q10 is a rooted device and doesnt continue. I use the app "Check" to quickly check the transactions. Luckily my main bank is not Barclays. Otherwise I would be damn pissed.
Not sure it will do much good but I have tried a change.org petition for a BB10 Barclays app - http://www.change.org/en-GB/petition...rry-10-devices

FINALLY here. NatWest for BB10.
Though I have declined it due to random permissions.

I installed it (Natwest) via Snap a while back and it does work well. I'll live with the security risks...hopefully they did it right

Also looks like the version posted to BlackBerry world is not the latest one either, there's a later version in the Google Play store (via Snap).
