I got my mom a new Z10 for mothers day and was hoping that there was an app like sound hound that would identify Indian music. Anybody seen one that works?

Have you tried Sound Hound on Indian songs? I can't see why it wouldn't work. Perhaps they need to update there database some. You might try contacting them. You should also be able to use the android version of Shazam.
Sound hound worked on the few Bollywood songs I tried. Try it, it may fill your needs.

I tried it with my dad but it didn't work. That app is great though if it works for you guys maybe they just don't have a full database of Indian songs as yet?

Shazam works for well for foreign stuff but you'd need to get the apk
I think I'll have to put snap on there for her then and download shazam.
