Im sure a lot of people have this game, but man is it annoying. Everytime you start it, it turns NFC on. And then to conserve battery you have to go back and turn it off. Geez I hope they fix this and let people opt in if they want it.

I agree...I imagine that there is some future functionality that requires NFC, but this is a major annoyance.

Yeah and the thing is I dont even know what NFC is used for in terms of texas holdem. Do they even use it or do they just turn it on for fun? I dont see where it is used and why they turn it on.

Maybe for credit card payment to buy poker chips? I dont know.

What exactly is NFC anyway and what is its range?

Thought it was a RF smartcard reader.

Have you noticed your device getting really hot while playing? My Z10 gets really hot.

NFC I believe has to be in very close proximity...pretty much touching I think.

Yes. Infact it was my first Q10 game I got, the one I played the most on, and also the game that made me realize this phone gets insanely hot.

Yes after playing it for awhile the nerves on my hand felt like it has been burnt a bit like holding a hot potatoe for a long time. Luckily I got a case for it now so my hand is insulated. But yea, ridiculous. I think maybe its the fauly of the King Poker game too. Maybe they utilize too much CPU power when clearly this game needs none of it due to simple graphics. I hope they fix it. Then again I think the chips used in the Q10 are not exactly power efficient. I find even if I do bluetooth, wifi, or surf web, etc, it gets pretty hot in general. But King poker makes it really hot all on its own too.
