I have downloaded it but when I am trying to open it refuses to do so. I have tried pulling the battery but with no success. Any suggestions?

Please don't treat BB10 like old BBOS. Battery pulls are not necessary anymore. This app is from appworld and it isn't working? Uninstall, restart the device then reinstall. That's what I would do. If it never works then maybe it is the app itself? Good luck.

Did you accept all the permissions? Also yeah, no need to pull the battery anymore. Gotta kick the habit, man .

Stocks is an excellent app. Never had issues with it. I would do what was suggested above...

I am the developer for Stocks for BB10 - This is an issue with the Blackberry 10 OS.

The app not starting is an issue with the BlackBerry Z10 phones. On these phones, apps stop working, or wont work at all! The only fix currently is to un-install (Delete the icon) and re-download the app.
You will NOT be charged twice.

The application will backup your portfolio and favorites list and reload them even if you un-install and re-install the app. (Shared file access must have been allowed for the app before the app stopped working! To make sure shared file access is on please go to the Phone's settings -> Security and Privacy -> Application Permissions -> Select Stocks for Blackberry 10 and turn on shared file access ) OR you can backup the app and restore it using Blackberry Link (I have no tried this method but that's what Blackberry suggested)

BlackBerry has resolved the issue which will be part of their next OS update Version 10.0.10.822 and above! If you are interested here is the forum thread about the issue: BB10: app not starting, damaged app installation? - BlackBerry Support Community Forums

    It's not a native app.

You can try Stock Quotes in BlackBerry world. It works ok and it's free. Hope this helps you.

    Kick'n it with my Z10. #BB10believe
