So is there a way to put the downloads on to the media card instead of the device?

It all depends on the phone's browser.. If I recall correctly since OS 10.1, you can save files from internet to media card. So if you have 10.1 or newer it should be fine saving to media card.
So nothing in your app can be set for downloads to media card. All I have, I think. Is the ability to save " music or video" which I understand should direct it to the card bit does not. All the songs from your app go straight to the device. any thoughts?

My understanding is YouTube's API's don't allow devices to actually download videos. Only cache them to the device (not media card) temporarily for offline viewing.

I'm investigating right now. Thanks for the heads up!
@bobo616 I fixed the issue. Thanks again for letting me know!
My app doesn't actually download any song. You use the phone's browser to download, the built in download manager. Before saving any file, just click the Up button and choose the suitable folder.
OK. Thanks, easy enough. I guess I probably could have figured that out for myself so thanks again for your time and effort

Hello, why is it that in BlackBerry World it shows that this app has the ability to download mp3's and videos from YouTube? Is this accurate?
