Is anyone getting alerts (push alerts) using this app?

I haven't gotten one NHL alert tonight.

Is there any BlackBerry App that provides real time push alerts for the NHL?

Seems like they are all disappearing

Are you currently running anything else? Something that pushes live goal alerts? Even Android based? I can't find anything to work.

If you can get a copy of the old Score app (before it became an android port), it will still work for alerts. I have both it and the android version loaded from snap running on my phone simultaneously.

Been going nuts looking for an older. Score app. Can't find it. I thought they pulled push alerts when they dumped the Android Port "update " on us.

I need a BlackBerry App that provides live push alerts for sports... hockey, soccer, football etc. can't believe we don't have one.

I wish I knew how to develop apps. So frustrating being 'forgotten about'

Can any Passport owners confirm if Android apps are functional? Meaning something like the Score actually pushing alerts to the phone??

Is it possible to put the old score back on my device? The one that existed prior to them tricking us into taking an 'Android Port update'?

They said they were going to kill the alerts but it is still working as of today *knock on wood. Hopefully they have simply forgotten all about it. Actually, what would be even better would be if they would rewrite their app natively so we could stop using workarounds...

EDIT: performed a device reboot and alerts are coming through.

Now the million dollar question : any old working versions of Scoremobile FC out there?

Clearly the old Score app is still pushing alerts... maybe the FC app will too.

Unfortunately not. I believe thescore actually shuttered alerts on the old scoremobile fc app when they switched to Google cloud messaging.

Some people have said that the Android score fc from snap has headless push notifications. Don't know if it still does but wouldn't hurt to try.

Nope. That's been there for quite some time. They went with Google cloud messaging For push notifications, then never bothered to update the scorefc app to accommodate the switch in push technology.

I did. Won't work. Won't push alerts.

I installed the old score yesterday and got push alerts. Nothing tonight. I'm ready to give up. I like the Yahoo Sports App... sends alerts but sometimes 10 min after the goal.

I've heard that the Sportsnet app is nothing but a re-branded thescore app. Perhaps thescore shut down their BlackBerry push server since they've gone the android port route.

I have it. It is great. Problem is I'll get alerts minutes after goals are scored. Quite a delay in the push notifications. Can't complain though since it seems to be the only one actually working and pushing on BlackBerry devices.
