Every time I go into the app and choose a picture to open, it goes back to the main screen where the picture should be but nothing ever happens. Has this happened to anyone else? I haven't been able to bring one pic in yet.

Go into your device settings, then Security and Privacy, then Applications, select Spark Me and ensure Shared Files permission is enabled. Let me know if that works.
