Cool, thanks! Suggestion - improve channel selection screen. I find current system very cluttered. Maybe tiles would help. (but then some solution for selecting channel stream speed would be needed)

Thanks. I'll probably keep it the way it is as one reason I made it was I found selecting these stations in other Internet radio apps to take too many presses (open another tab, find station and repeat when changing stations all day). With this app, you need only scroll and tap once to change a station. Furthermore you get the stream-quality choice. And if you happen to clean install your OS you won't lose the stations. On thing I might do is make only one listing of each station and have a pop up where you tap again to select the stream rate.

Double-selection would be overkill, and a global priority list would be much nicer IMHO. Strange how it seems easier to get feedback on CB from users, than getting them to post BBW reviews.

Thinking of it or favourites on top of the list.

OK. I think I have decided how I'll allow for a shorter list. In the Settings you will be able to chose a long or short list. Long list will be the existing configuration. Short list will be one item per station and you will have to then choose the stream with buttons after you tap your station. It will take some time to do so hopefully I can get it done in the next week.

If you choose Short List in Settings this is the look and the second pic is what appears after tapping the station. Then tap the stream you want and it will play. I hope to finish it this weekend. If I have time I'll put in a favorites list that will list the station and stream you set; that will be one-tap. But I may have to delay the favorites list for the next release if I run into complexities.

New release is up in BlackBerry App World. They said it wouldn't open on 10.1 (even though I built it with 10.1 SDK). So I had to up minimum requirement to 10.2.1 . If this affects you let me know as I'm curious if there will be many affected.

Thank you for the update. It's way more practical. Much obliged.

Does SomaFM Player buffer streams to avoid audio cutting out on unstable networks? I have noticed some interruptions, but my WiFi is rather flaky to begin with.

I would be willing to pay for a version which would unlock some advanced options (per below examples), but of course that doesn't mean anyone else would.

Yes, it does buffer. The circular activity monitor stops when buffering is finished.

    Cool! Updated.
I am still somewhat not enthusiastic about channel selection UI design, despite change, but this is tiny personal niggle in this otherwise very useful application. Thanks. Rated with 5 stars in store.
