Thank you for your continued support of Epocrates. We hope you are enjoying the fresh interface and new features on your iOS or Android device.

As of January 15, 2014, Epocrates will discontinue support for all BlackBerry smartphone devices. This focus in resources allows us to develop the most innovative, user-friendly tools and services to aid decision making at the point of care. We will continue to update you as new products and features are developed for your device.

You will still develop for Android? Then only legacy users need to worry. If it is even offered for legacy users. It may be possible that eventually you can just upload the APK to BlackBerry World without any changes. So don't worry too much about BB10 users.

I don't understand why epocrates insists to refusing publishing the android app on BB10. Very arrogant

This is unfortunate. They really need a good drug reference guide for BlackBerry

Why is this getting publicity, there are plenty of dev's who do not develop for the BlackBerry platform. We should be talking about those that do or have shown intentions to do so.

Have you found a good replacement? We can't connect our devices to the guest Internet (only reserved for patients) and so need a self contained drug reference that can be used offline...

EDIT: Micromedex offers an outstanding drug information app for IOS, Android, and Windows 8. Perhaps we can contact them and ask them to make it available through the Blackberry Appworld. It would be a more than adequate replacement for epocrates...
