Hey Nemory, I notice that saving snaps is going to be an in-app purchase. So does that mean that the app will be free? And if so, what features will be paid and what will be free? I'm sure people would want to know

Isn't the whole point of snapchat that people can NOT save the pics?

Or are you referring to your own camera pics that you save to your local storage for sending later?

That feature is not really sure coming yet. But it can be a feature for other people that really wants to save the picture. There can be times you might really want to save pic.

The UI are fresher, give the feeling of snapchat.
I wish there's no more reloading/refresh while switching tab.

Can't say much before sending/uploading snaps features available..

the final product will not reload tabs when you switch tabs.

He means it's not yet functional/fully functional, basically just the backbone of the app with missing features yet to be implemented.

I get what you mean. But if you sideload the alpha, and long press on a snap, you can save it but a popup will say that it's available as an in app purchase

Alpha is early stages with limited functionality,
Beta is the stage with working features.

Progress since update got a little slow because of some blocking (school, some works). But what I have added now is taking a snap, editing it through built in pictures editor, saving captured picture, but still some missing features like drawing, adding a caption
Also added pull to refresh, better loading UI. Feeds now shows the date and time of the snap. Will add more features tomorrow like viewing and sending the snap

The app is written overall in C++, QT, QML, JSON, XML, PHP, Javascript.

Well the options are not available as of yet I believe. The app still in its alpha stage meaning it's not fully functional, but the layout, the style and the UI is very clean and neat. So I believe this app is gonna be a real success
