We're lucky as BB10 users that currently we can just install the android app, but WP users don't have the choice and are getting notices about it right now. Hope it doesn't happen but I wouldn't dismiss their public statement as a bluff just yet.

Do I think it's a waste of time? Yeah. But it's their service and with all the heat they're receiving it's understandable that they would take these actions. I don't agree with it but it's not outside of the realm of possibility. How much of their userbase is on BB10/WP? Got to be pretty small.

That doesn't work because these 3rd party apps that save snaps without informing the sender affect the users that are using the official snapchat app. It goes against everything that snapchat was created for. Snapchat, sadly, is right to do this. I just wish they would at least port the android version with push notifications to BlackBerry 10.

Is there a paid version at the moment?
Because for as long as there isn't a paid version I wouldn't update from Snap2Chat PRO to Snap10

That is the point. Snap2chat was removed due to an order from Snapchat. If you do not already have it there is no way to get it. The developer is trying to make a workaround so it can be put back in BlackBerry World and developed again.

I hope that isn't the case. Personally that seems like a slight against anyone who supported the developer by purchasing this apps pro version. I don't use the app often but I paid for it. Noone should be getting it free.

This is extremely different.
I payed for an App and didn't expect for the app to be taken down.
So when the same app is given a new name is is put back up, everyone who payed for Snap2chat Pro should be sandboxed for Snap10 Pro.

Yes indeed that was What I meant. The Dev gave it for free and I just asked if there was already a paid one, so I can pay one (maybe)
