A month or two ago I noticed something that my $150 WIndows 8 Tablet does that I really liked that I felt my Z10 didn't do as good of a job at. That was displaying my pictures as a live tile in homescreen. And so I sat down and made an app for it:

Slidr is a quick and easy app to set up, and then you just minimize it and let it go.
Instructions:
1. Download and launch the app.
2. Choose the photos you want to be in the slideshow.
3. Choose your transition.
4. Choose the time between transitions.
5. Decide if you want the battery percentage to be displayed.
6. Minimize the app.
That's it! With those few easy steps, you'll have a slideshow of your photos.
