Why does my playlist take so long to populate? This has only happened recently. Any ideas? Also I wanted to elaborate on my idea for a Neutron partnership of some sort. In Neutron there is an option to stream from the internet, if I'm not mistaken. Seeing as the Z10 has one of the best audio chips in the industry (so I've heard) so wouldn't it be great if Skooday could stream via the equaliser provided by Neutron? That'd be amazing! Two of the best apps in BlackBerry World joining to give us an even more amazing listening experience.

I've experienced a few problems with Ex.fm not working properly - it goes down for some reason then it's back up after a minute or two.

I mean that we should simply wait until ex.fm returns to life. Ex.fm sometimes goes down on weekends. ex.fm headquarters are in USA.

About Skooday future: at the moment it is unclear. I can't give more details and don't want to disappoint or give hopes that might not happen.

Any chance Skooday could be adapted to stream music from different sources such as Youtube or lastfm as I am interested in listening to most popular music and the trending areas in Skooday seem a bit odd as they include some music that isn't very recent?

That makes it different app. Combining everything into single app is possible but not worth the time. There are not only technical problems but there are legal issues as well - Microsoft has not managed to create native app for YouTube because of legal issues. Last.fm is not free service as well.

SoundCloud is not real issue as ex.fm takes quite a lot songs from SoundCloud as well. Technically ex.fm is just crawler for songs from all the web (technical details might be more complicated). If it is available for free there is huge chance that ex.fm has link to it.

Overall development of Skooday now is in limbo because of number of various reasons. Sorry about that.

I'm not sure if I understand your question. If you are asking if I'm looking to do something new - yes, I do. I always look at new technologies, for new opportunities or simply play with something.

With Skooday I made bet on ex.fm service and lost it IMHO. Still Skooday is nice app and I'm happy that people like it.

Every time ex.fm goes down Skooday app gets bunch of 1-2 stars reviews and that affects download numbers (or at least it looks like so). In any case my main problems are not Skooday related. Depending on how I will resolve my problem depends situation of Skooday.

In the worst case I can sell it to other developer or make it open source but it is too early to make such decision.
