I am looking for an app to edit my screenshots. I am not talking about filters, stickers etc. but highlighting or marking certain areas for providing support...Anyone?

I believe I know what you're looking for...
    Typic+
    Typic+ - BlackBerry World
There is also an in-app purchase for additional functionality, but you may not even need it.
You can add text, boxes/rectangles, a couple of different type of arrows to point to things, etc.

    Here is a CB review...

to be honest, I gave it a try and yes it offers the ability to modify a screenshot (not not be adding smileys and other facy stuff ) but I can't save files. There seem to be an error with the app. You don't encounter this problem?

No. I haven't really. Long story short, but long anyway....
I read the article when it was posted, and read a lot of the reviews that were posted mentioning the same thing. So, what I've done since downloading was to use it for my posts here when I want to point something out really quickly (like I did previously). Basically, I take a screenshot after I set up whatever I want, and then post the screenshot here similar to providing app/device support as you mentioned. Hence I never really have been saving finished product. I then delete the screenshot, as there is no need to save it when I just have to post once for technical assistance. I don't use it for personal photos really, which is the only reason I could see saving the edited image long term. I did have an issue sharing as it always defaulted to BBM, but I also read reports of just hitting the back button, so that is just what I do. I don't know the full extent of what your needs are, so I can only speak generally, and say that for app/device support it suits my simple needs. You may require something more polished. Hopefully things will finally get sorted by the developer. IDK? But it is a really nice departure from just B & W, or Sepia tones. It actually does something for those who want to highlight specific things and areas.

this is strange..because even when I am not saving but trying to share the file instead; it doesn't work! I wish 'Mock it' would offer abilities like this because I really like that app...
