Ok... I'll beg one more time for some answers from BachKhoa. Hopefully he will take pity on me (or get tired of me having to ask so many times, just to get his attention.)

So, not only did I not hear back on why the "1 week sale" (as posted here on CrackBerry) ended 5 days short (still advertising on product page for $1.99 but checkout changes the price to $4.99) but after so many requests, I now see that yesterday the price jumps up to $5.99.

So, the pricing history:
? 1 day ago, price increase to $5.99
? 7 days ago, jump from $1.99 to $4.99
? 12 days ago, from $4.99 to $1.99
? 2 months ago, from $1.99 to $4.99

Very frustrating to buy within a sales period, just to have a bait-and-switch on the checkout page, then no reply at all for over a week. No email. No PM. No reply in his own product thread.

With all of this said, I would still like to support and encourage the development of this type of application. However, I don't want to pay 300% more than I was promised in the process.

Any suggestions from others on getting BachKhoa to reply?

What Country are you in? It is likely an BB App World issue, not Backhoa's. I've had App world show a higher price, and then when going to checkout, it was actual/lower price (and the checkout price is what was charged), so I can't say I've had your exact issue. I think the issue is how it takes time for app world changes to propagate to the different app worlds for different countries. so if you got the paypal screen and it was $1.99, then you should have been good to proceed. If it was $4.99, then you were right not to purchase.

I think you will need to wait for the next sale. He just mentioned a major update is coming, so I don't know if they'd have another sale in the near future.

It is unfortunate that the developer didn't acknowledge your post, even if it was, "sorry, I don't know" or "contact BlackBerry" or something. When apps are so low cost, customer support becomes a major cost and time suck for developers and not the greatest that one expects for a higher cost app (ie, $50 app).

Did you ever contact BB about this issue?

Hmmm. This thread is 9 months old, with almost 30 pages and over 700 posts.
Personally, if I noticed the developer utilizing all of his time answering each and every post, I would ask him why the hell he is doing that and not in his living room, den, basement, or wherever updating his app. I totally understand how some may feel about not being publicly recognized or answered in even a brief 3-4 word sentence, but since it has not happened, we have to pull up out boot straps and move on.

Continuously harping on it does not help the matter.
As anyone can see, the incessant complaining has not changed the actual fact.

Please try your best to be patient. No one wants to be seen as "that guy".
I personally think there have been some very valid points made which I'm sure have been observed.

To play music on SDCard, all your songs need to be placed at the root folder of music (i.e sdcard/music/)
