Will add in the future update
Oh wow, I was just about to request 'text to speech' shared from anywhere in the OS (browser / emails / remember app etc) but decided to do a quick test first. To my surprise I found out that SayIt already supports this! So my question off the back of that discovery is when do you plan on increasing the text to speech word limit (currently 25 words)? Also, what sort of limit do you think will be in place afterwards?

*NB, For anyone unaware of the feature (as I was) all you have to do is highlight the text (browser / email / texts / remember app etc) then select 'share' 'Text to Speech by SayIt'. The app you are in will then invoke the text to speech screen from SayIt.

Not sure if this is possible, but is there any way to assign to center volume key to open SayIt rather than the native blackberry voice command app?

    Thanks!

Now, SayIt supports input command via keyboard. Tell me what do you think?

You don't need to choose Voice Input mode or Text Input mode. You can use these 2 modes in parallel.
To activate the Input Text mode, just tap on the bubble chat

Nice addition. I've often found myself in situations where it's inappropriate to use the voice command. Having the ability to use the keyboard in those instances would be really handy.

How are the results handled? It would be nice if they could be provided in a text only format (no audio) - then if the user wanted the audible response they could use the overflow menu and select 'replay result' (as it is current implemented). Best of both worlds.

Also, as a side note to my point above is there any way you can currently plug into Instant Actions? I remember BlackBerry saying that they would be opening up the APIs to allow developers to tap into them. It would be nice if we could use an instant action like 'SayIt what's the weather like' and have an action icon for SayIt presented to us. It could also work for things like translate, text to voice or even voice to text.

The current version of SayIt does have this feature. You can view the result in text only by setting the "Output Voice" to "Off"

Thanks for the info but I meant if a text only response could be automatically triggered if the question is generated from the keyboard (as opposed to speaking it). If I'm entering a question via the keyboard then it usually means that I'm in an environment where an audible response is inappropriate.

Whose database is it using for that? Google Maps?

Need to figure out if it has a database for here rather than Vietnam.
