I was told by our tech department that "connect to sales force" is not supported by sales force. For compliant reasons salesforce1 is the app needed.

I was also told that there is a slight possibility blackberry might make it happen. I sure hope so...I don't want to give up my z10!

As soon as 10.2.1 is released by your carrier, the official Android Salesforce1 should work, unless you are on BES which don't allow Android apps, at least not now ( and most likely won't)
