After giving up a bunch of personal information to register the app to get it to load, I received an email from them explaining all the ins and outs of the app I so graciously accepted as a "gift". Not a nice gift imho.
EDIT: Not Blackberrys fault but maybe before they allow some other "trial" or "limited" apps to be given as "gifts" maybe they could ask the developer if the "gift" is going to be revoked after the "trial" time. In this case 14 days. I have never personally nor would I give someone a gift and PLAN AHEAD OF TIME to take it back after 14 days

When you sign in or create an account the app sends you an email.
You can get the yearly subscription for half off.
I'm guessing coz it's a monthly subscription service, but all the same, it sucks.
No point in keeping it now

Edit: took a little bit of time for me to find, but if you want to delete your Runtastic account, you can do it from the settings tab on the website, in the login information

I didn't need to create an account or receive an email regarding a trial period to see it wasn't for me.
The constant/persistent horrible reviews told me to pass on this one.
Glad I didn't waste my time.

Actually, it was the Gold membership that comes when purchasing the "Pro" version that expired! Still no ads on this date, and it's running good (except for map).
