    Is anyone else seeing this?

After the BlackBerry World update on my Z10 last week, I realized today that it's no longer notifying me of updates. No messages in the hub. And no Red Spark on BB World icon.

Over the past few days I noticed that my battery life was slowly diminishing.
After a little poking around I went into BlackBerry World and looked to see if any new updates were available that might fix the issue. I was totally shocked to see 14 apps that all had updates available. They all showed as being new since Sept. 20th.

I'm in the process of applying the updates but just thought I'd pass this along to see if I am the only one affected....

I'm in the same boat too, I check weekly too.

As an aside, the last Foursquare update broke FS notifications...

My battery is still draining fast, bummer. I'm also not 100% sure that the BB World update was last one I did before both issues started. So narrowing it down might be a PITA. Oh well, something else to do this weekend...

What OS are you running? If on stock, do you have BlackBerry World Beta installed?
    I'm on Q10SQN100-3/10.2.0.1725 (beta's built-in)

I've noticed the same issue. Happened to be in App World the other day and had 4 or 5 App updates waiting but never received notifications in the hub. Also notice my battery drain is sometimes faster after updating apps or installing new ones since the 10.1MR update. It slows down and goes back to normal after a couple of hours. Almost as if files are bring reindexed for a while after updates are applied. Not sure really.

Absolutely! As Lendo said... I'm in the same boat.
However, with the extra agitation, I'm going overboard.
Not only do I not receive notifications in the Hub or Sparks on the icon, I sometimes don't even get notified of updates when I refresh and check for them. I would say a lot of times I see talk here about an update for an app and check, but it doesn't show. I then have to go into MyWorld listing and open the app to see that there is an update. So weird.

I'm on the latest official T-Mobile MR .4780 with not a single sideloaded application.
But I do have both the BBM Channels and BAW betas installed.

BTW. I've always had terrible battery life on the Z10 and I've kinda grown accustomed to it.
I've given up on uninstalling/reinstalling apps to figure it out.
I just have chargers everywhere. Home, office, car, travel case, etc... Always topped off.
So, I wouldn't know if this is the cause of the battery problems I've encountered.
I don't care either.... Loving my Omega 26th letter!

So after I applied all of the updates and restarted I still had the increased battery drain.
Since it's been over a month or so since I swapped batteries (I've got the Charger Bundle), I decided it was time for a battery pull.
    Problem fixed!
Today I've had the phone off the charger for almost 12 hours (not much use), and Battery Guru says I'm at 86%. Much better!!

    Darn! I wasn't thinking...
I received the update for BlackBerry World at the same time with the LinkedIn update earlier.
I should have waited and/or checked again for the LinkedIn app afterwards.
Now I have to wait until a developer updates something to see how the fix is working.

    About this issue!?!?!?
    They better listen...
It's bad enough we have multitudes of users complaining about the lack of apps.
Those same people would probably say...
"The least BlackBerry can do is make sure we are notified when updates are available for the few apps we DO have"
