    It sucks we don't have poynt for the z10 considering it is an app that lifted off using BlackBerry platform.
    Are we getting it or not?
    I use this app so much on my old BlackBerry devices so I'd like it here too

    They are supposed to be restructuring and giving it another go.

    Edit: The website says they'll be back soon and you can put in your email address and a comment, I asked them to let me know when it is available for z10

    In the meantime, you can sideload the Android version, which works.

    Next time you have a query about the availability of an app, may I suggest you search the forums first? Believe me, there is not much you can ask about that has not been addressed to some extent already.

    The 7.1 version stopped updating data such as movie listing etc about a week ago sadly. I still have the app on my PlayBook in case they make a comeback.

    Yeah. They filed for bankruptcy last summer. It was one of my favorite apps on my 9700, although lately getting info was hit or miss. You could get movie times one day, then nothing.

    I used to love this app but then they went bankrupt but then I started using foursquare and realize it did a lot of what I was asking poynt to do. Plus the social aspect with comments and pictures and reviews

    The feature I used most was the reverse directory. I don't think Foursquare does that. Is there another app that does?

    The guys that are working on Spotcast are ex-Poynters. A lot of similar functionality in the new app, though still has a ways to go.

    OP. Totally agree. I really miss poynt. Was one of my top apps on bb7. It totally sucks that we have to side load android version.
