According to the OP

At one point he created a vendor account
He posted his apps for sale for the PlayBook
He somehow lost access to login to the vendor account
His PayPal information stopped processing

Now RIM emailed all of us to say they are automatically porting apps for us because the AW testing team found they worked.

He said no dont
They ported it for him.


So I don't think its a case of piracy exactly. I think there is more to this picture. He's right, they shouldn't post it if you say not to. I always ask them not to auto port mine. I don't want to support a platform I can't test on myself - hence no Q10 apps were made until I had a dac

Anyway, either he's being paid normally and angry about his request.
Or he has been pirated and only he can fix it by contacting rim.
Or someone stole his vendor account and changed the PayPal and it can only be fixed by him contacting RIM

On my ATT Z10 running 10.0.10 they do not show up in my available apps, even though I have SynergyGV purchased on my PlayBook.

Situation "resolved", in that I finally, after several months, have been able to log into the dev portal, and turn the apps off completely. Sorry for anyone who was waiting for an update to SynerGV, it's probably not going to happen, it's been 6 months now that I haven't been able to use the playbook dev tools. Was hoping for BB10 for the PlayBook, then I could use the BB10 tools to do it. Obviously, that's been killed now too.

So, I removed them from sale for all BB platforms. Of course, they have no intention of paying out the few dollars that are owed from people buying XO on BB10, and they aren't going to refund any of the users, either.

I especially enjoyed looking at the last 20 reviews of both apps "App doesn't work". Screw you, BB.
