Hi all,

I'm at a loss concerning how to sort the images in my BB10 pictures app, by Name (i.e. alphabetically).

I can only see how to sort by Date currently. Would appreciate some help.

Thanks, but I don't want to use the File Manager. I want to use the Pictures app.

The issue is that File Manager is limited when it comes to dealing with images. For example, flicking through pictures. I need to swipe left / right each image (as opposed to open an image, then go back, then open the next image in the list, etc...).

Is there no way I can sort by name using the Pictures app?

Not that I recall. Only Oldest to Newest or Newest to Oldest. Might have been other Gallery apps that allow for it, but a lot of apps have been cleared out of BlackBerry World now.

The Assistant or search might help, you could try that.

Still lost me. You mean search this forum, or search the appstore?

The BB Assistant. imo it's one of the best apps you can get on BB10. It might display your images in a way that's easier to categorize. The browser will open this app with a 'search://' protocol.
